FAQ

1. What's the difference between DRIED and PRESERVED floral arrangements?

Dried flowers undergo a drying process where all moisture is removed. Sometimes, this strips or fades their natural color as drying removes the proteins that create color. Our dried flower vendors either air dry or use natural methods to naturally dry each flower or grass.

Preservation is also a form of drying, although it is much more sophisticated. Preserved flowers undergo a rehydration, first, the plant's stem is placed in a mixture of vegetable-based glycerine and other plant additives. This liquid rises up the stem, slowly swapping the plant’s natural sap for the added plant-based preservative. Once the plant is fully hydrated, it’s stable and can remain flexible and lifelike for years.

The preservation technique allows flowers to maintain a completely natural appearance and feel, as if they were freshly-cut flowers!

Both dried and preserved flowers can be dyed and can last for many years.

2. Are the flowers and grasses in you arrangements real?

Yes, all flowers and grasses are 100% naturally grown and source the best sustainable materials available for all of our products. All of our eternal roses, other florals and grasses are all real, dried/preserved in a way so that they will last for years.
